[ NAME ]

     [ Full Name ]:
               Orginally given the name " Hellnicht " when he was but a Landmass, he was given the name Arthur of Wessex when was given the country title of " Wessex ", and after being under that control of Alfred the Great, he was given the name Arthur, and eventually after the reign of Æthelstan, Wessex became his last name ( after Alfred the Great ) and given the country title of " Kingdom of England ".
               Later, around the 12th-13th century, he was given the surname Kirkland, along with the middle name Ignacius by high arching members of the Church of England.
               As of today, he is known as Arthur Ignacius Kirkland

               Going by country names, Arthur's has changed throughout the years. Though the title has changed ( Kingdom, Empire, Landmass, ect. ), he has always commonly been referred to as England, and, as country names go, that is the only acceptable one to use with him. Calling him either Britain, Great Britain, or the United Kingdom will spark anger from him.
               Human nicknames are commonly Artie and Art, though his hatred toward abrivations only allow current extrememly close characters in his life use them.

     [ Origin ]:
               Hellnicht was given as an omen by Angle and Saxon tribes before 1000. It was given to him for the proceved danger and bad luck that was supposed to come to you if you were to see him running around.
               Arthur was given to him but Alfred, along with the house title Wessex. Later on, the Church of England gave him the name Ignacius and Kirkland to complete his current name.

               Arthur had the old title of Captain for many years when he was a privateer, though, currently, he has no offical titles of royality.

               Differs from person to person, though, Arthur isn't one to accept pet names happily for his distaste toward abrivatios.

Though, he did roam the following terriories, and called him his birthplace for many years :: South Saxon, Lindsey, and East Angles, staying closer to the coastal territories and avoiding the western Celtic territory of the Britons, and the bordering lands of Mercains and Norththumbrains.

               Arthur is one to dress for success. Formal wear would be a clean cut, well tailor three piece suit, though his casual wear tends to vary from button ups to vests to the uncommon t-shirt. Jean are a massive no with Arthur, and he tends to only wear slacks.
               And when it comes to colors, Arthur stays within the pallete of black, grey, white, and the occasional red or gold.

     [ Grooming ]:                
Of course, whenever Arthur is to be presented infront of anyone, his grooming is at a high standard. Clean shaven, bathed, everything that goes into being able to be presentable and beyong ( though calming his hair is never an easy task to preform )
               Though on days where it is only him to be seen, his apprience takes far more time and effort to actually maintain. Unless there is immediate work to be done, Arthur tends to lounge about, putting off his roution to look like, well, a slob.

     [ Birthmarks/scars ]:
               He is someone with no birthmarks, and only two scars that are predominate. One that most people would see is the one upon his left pec, a large spiral burn mark he recieved on May 10th, 1941 when he was evacuating Paraliment, and was struck by one of the many bombs that were being dropped on the Palace of Westminster.
               The other is much older, much more faded, though still noticable. It was a long gashed scar on his right, very wide in radius with a very dark middle, one of the first scars that he recived sometime between 1650 and 1680 , given to him by a Spanish pirate whose name is unknown.

[ MENTAL ]

     [ Health ]: Solid four. Yes, he attempts to care for himself on a daily with personal grooming routines, so he will have an outwardly apperance that is healthy, but he does have a very constant to skip meals such as lunch and sometimes dinner if he is really in a crunch, fails to get enough exercise besides walking to and from placing that he is needed in, and does not get enough sunlight of water throughout his day. He is a man of his country, not of himself, so his health does tend to dip into unsafe levels every now and then thanks to his poor care for himself.

     [ Energy ]: Eight-Nine. It isn't that he is a bubbly energentic person, it is more in the fact that he is a very busy man, and the energy that he has is from the fast pace speed of his job and life as a whole. He isn't a slow man, despite his age, is quite the fast talker, fast walker, and just an all around energenticly busy man.

     [ Memory ]: Five-Six. Arthur has a tendency to be a bit scattered brain when he is presented with so many tasks at once. There is so many facts that he must remember, so many face's that he must recognize, and too many issues that he must become an expert on to properly represent his people. So, he must be reminded of many things, along with keeping his focus on the issue at hand. Though, his long term memory is easily struck and is very wide, going back to the days of even his Kingdom title.

     [ Senses ]: Five-Six. His sight is not a perfect 20/10, and he does have a need for glasses/contacts ( Though he only wears them with no one around, usually dealing with mounds of paperwork ). His senses of taste and smell have never been the best in the world. The only sense that is keen to this day is his hearing.

               Arthur’s drinking started probably around 1002 CE, the time of Edward the Confessor and the second restoration of the House of Wessex [ Which was still his last name at this point, Arthur of Wessex ]
Though Edward himself lead a saintly life, the return to a sinless life did bring a bore to the around 600 year old nation. He was introduced to during parties and celebrations when he was able to sneak it out of Edward and Edith’s eyes.
               And of course, privateer days did ramp his freedom to do, and drink, whatever he cared. His alcohol consumption at that time was for the taste, for celebration, and drunkenness was just a byproduct of those things.
               Throughout the years, though, celebration was not what he pulled out the bottles for. Alcohol became a coping method, a grieving tool, drunkenness the goal and not the product of enjoyment.
And through hardship, war, arms wars, the decline of his empire, alcohol has been just that, a tool.
               He will rarely be drinking a glass to enjoy himself, he will be drinking a bottle to drown out the memories of the day that had just passed him.

               Arthur doesn’t tend to abbreviate names ( Alfred isn’t Al, Matthew is Matt ) or sayings ( It’s as soon as possible not asap ). It is part sophistication in his vocabulary and part the condescending tone that he feels comes with nicknames.
               Arthur doesn’t curse a lot, only when he is seriously mad. He was raised with high morals, and taught to speak with a high tongue. Damn and piss are about as vulgar as he gets on a regular basis. Though, a clear way to tell that he is getting close to snapping is when he starts to say fuck.
               Arthur speaks without rhotics, or R shoulding consants. Words like " Hard " are slurred to " Hahd ", as per the standard of the RP ( the common tounge taught and spoken in a general sense ), though his accent fall in the South Eastern region of the country where was born and learned to speak English.

               [ Pyshical ticks ( growing list ) ]:
               His tendency to play with his hair. A subcautious tick that comes usually when he is reading or briefing documents or when waiting for things like lines or when he is one the phone. This also transfers to other people, usually when he is in an embrace with a signifigant other, Arthur tends to stroke or toy around with their hair.
               He does tap his foot in impatients quite a lot as well as cross his arms while doing so.
